Artist's Statement:

I work in stoneware, and my fuel source is wood. At the center of what I do is the conviction that the best pots have the capacity to communicate something essential and ineffable about the human spirit, and that they do this by bringing something of the sublime into the everyday.

In my work, I aspire to a balance between subtlety and self-expression, minimalism and warmth, delicacy and usability, tradition and originality.
